The Tapestry of Life

I just want to say thank you for taking the time to read my story, everything mentioned below is only by the grace of God. May you also give God the opportunity to reveal Himself in your life. 

I’ve never considered myself to be an extraordinary canvasser, but I try my best. As I was walking I stepped on the porch in front of my next door. A lady opened the door and said, “Hey, I saw you walking down the street with somebody.” She looked scared, kinda startled. I said, “I wasn’t.” Because I was literally all by myself that evening. I was kinda confused for the rest of the day, but then it hit me...my angel. She had seen my angel walking with me! We are never alone friends. 

My second experience was in Mississippi. I was canvassing businesses that morning as usual, but something different occurred. As I was walking up to my next business a man looked at me and said, “Hey do you know Jesus?” I looked towards him and said, “Of course.” He said, “I can see Him in your smile.” We laughed and  we started sharing our testimonies with each other.He went on to tell me how he had just come out of prison that very morning. How they had been driving all day from the prison towards home. He was so amazed that they decided to stop at the very same restaurant where I was walking towards. In the excitement he led me to the trunk of his car and pulled out his Bible. As he held it in his hands he started reciting all the memory verses  he knew from his heart. I was filled with inspiration, just watching him smile and share scripture with me. I started telling him about the beautiful book Steps to Christ. By this time his mom came out of the diner and so I explained what we were talking about out. She became just as excited as we were, she helped out with a donation. I asked if I could pray for them and so we did. 

It was so amazing to see how God weaves all of our lives together. I was so encouraged by the man’s excitement for Christ, and was inspired to know that my angel was walking with me on the canvassing field. I pray that you may remember that you have a place in this world for a reason, and if you let Him, God will reveal His purpose for your life in the grand tapestry.
